Domestic-Violence Education & Resources
Identified and contacted Virginia organizations serving immigrant and domestic-violence survivors—including the Virginia Sexual & Domestic Violence Action Alliance, Ayuda, and NVFS’s Multicultural Center—to explore partnerships and gather input on screening and referral practices.
Developed a toolkit identifying signs of financial abuse, coercive control, and isolation, plus a regional navigation guide mapping services and step-by-step pathways for limited access to money, housing concerns, control over documents, or the need for legal assistance.

Skin, Trauma & Shame Documentary
Created Visible, Unseen | Care for the Skin, a documentary and online exhibition exploring the emotional and cultural burdens of chronic skin disease—experiences that clinical assessments and public conversations often overlook.
Through patient interviews and professional perspectives, the project examines how stigma, silence, treatment barriers, and social pressure shape life beyond visible symptoms. Its purpose is to help viewers see chronic skin disease not as a surface-level condition, but as a lived experience shaped by mental health, culture, relationships, and access to care.
